Funeral & End of Life
When a loved one or a friend has passed away, please call the Parish Office (636-671-3062) to inform us even if a funeral or memorial service will not be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. One of our traditions is to add them to our weekend intentions. Praying for the deceased allows us to ask God to receive the deceased in heaven.
There are several ways to remember someone who has died:
- Funeral mass with the body present
- Funeral mass with the presence of cremains
- A memorial mass where the body or cremains will not be present
- Simple gathering at a cemetery
Whatever option is chosen, it is necessary to meet with the Pastor (636-671-3062) to establish the date and time and the various options for each of the above services.
Please fill out
Funeral Information Form
and submit it to the Parish Office.
Accuracy of information is important for recording the death and funeral/memorial service with the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
