Catholic Social Response Committee
The Catholic Social Response Committee, a sub-committee of the Parish Social Ministry Commission, is a group of volunteers who research and provide basic information to parishioners on such life issues as budgeting, planning for retirement, dealing with Medicare/Medicaid, applying for disability, finding appropriate counseling, parenting issues, dealing with aging parents and relatives, and the like.
They maintain a resource list and provide referral to needed services upon request. They also organize speakers and workshop sessions for those coping with significant life issues and promote speakers and workshops on Catholic Social Teaching and Social Justice for the entire parish.
