Hope builders service week is an amazing opportunity for teens (incoming 8th graders and high school students) to be the hands and feet of Christ while building hope in homeowners lives that are in need.   We spend the week praying, working and living together to help homeowners in our area complete some needed work around their home that they are unable to do themselves.  Adults volunteers work with the teens on job sites.  They teach and guide the youth on how to complete each task for the homeowner while building community among the workers.  In the evenings we share dinner together and have fun team building activities.

Where is the Hope Builders Service Week being held?

We will stay overnight on campus at Our Lady Queen of Peace and go out into the community to work during the day.   If you wish to stay at your own home at night, parents are to pick up youth at 9pm and drop youth back off at OLQP by 6:45 am.  Please make note of this on your application.

Why is Friday evening dinner at 6pm a Big Deal?  On Friday evening we will have dinner for our homeowners, our parents and families. This is a very special dinner with a closing slide show of our many adventures at the work sites.
